#20 Tips to really make FACEBOOK work for your business
No one liking your facebook posts? Struggling to get people to like your page? Do you really hate facebook right now!?

HOW TO REALLY MAKE FACEBOOK WORK FOR YOUR BUSINESS
1) WHY DO YOU WANT A BUSINESS PAGE? WHAT IS YOUR GOAL?
– Do you want to build your email list?
– Do you want to solely connect with your customers?
I have business goals but I DIDN’T EVEN HAVE A FACEBOOK GOAL! This first facebook tip is overlooked but totally makes sense to create a successful facebook strategy.
2) CONNECT WITH YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE
What do they like? Ask them questions & post content you know they will like
3) COVER PHOTO
Make your cover photo very specific to what your business is offering and who you are. On that first visit to your facebook business page you want them to like it and try to get them on your email list.
Make use of the Call to action buttons (Sign up, Shop now etc) and put a call to action on your cover photo

4) COMPLETE YOUR PAGE
Imagine your facebook page is the only marketing platform you have and put maximum effort into making it interesting for your customers. Remember to put keywords in the description in a friendly HUMAN way
5) PIN A POST TO THE TOP OF YOUR FACEBOOK
Just like Twitter you can stick one of your posts to the top of your page. This is the post everyone will see first so make sure you use it wisely.
6) POST 1 – 4 TIMES A DAY
Post the highest quality content and don’t be afraid to delete posts that get zero interaction (both me and Alex have done this) Also this is about trail & error – see what times people are interacting with your posts, this will vary for each business.
Don’t post endless status’ of you selling your products – instead engage your customers
7) MIX IT UP
Don’t post just text status’ – use images, videos, infographics, blog posts etc
8) BE SOCIAL
ALWAYS respond to people’s comments – take 5 minutes everyday to engage with your customers
ALWAYS put your name when responding
9) VIDEO
Video really connects with people & increases reach for your business facebook page.
10) STICK WITH IT
Facebook is not a quick fix – it takes time, effort and dedication to build your facebook business page. Don’t expect too much too soon. Check your facebook insights and see what is working
