Switch off the Inner Voice that is telling you networking is frightening & go with the intention you WILL meet some lovely people. Reframe your thinking

Be yourself . Have an open mind to meet different people from different backgrounds and try not to judge others

The more you get out your comfort zone and go to networking events the more confident you will become. You just need to take that first step

Find a networking event that caters to like minded people. You may have to go to a few different ones to find a group that is perfect for you
